Back in January, we talked about how one of our main themes for 2018 would be the “Architecture of the Mind” and how we would be focusing a lot on urban exploration photography, urbex for short.
The reason we chose this theme was because we believed it reflected a good part of what our world is. Looking around, we see many sights of a vanishing world, to play with the Kroke album title “Sounds of the Vanishing World”.
In the course of the year, we presented you with a few artists who engaged with this topic: Marco Campelli, Julien Roesz or Les Jonhstone.
As the year comes to an end, we also wanted to share some of the photographs we’ve taken in various places, which depict the same urbex feel of a world that is now disappearing, in order to leave way for a new world.
