Photographer and Creative Director’s newest exhibition, titled Les Couleurs de la Joie, takes place at the Brasov Apollonia Culture Bank between 15 December 2022 – 16 January 2023.
Here is the exhibition statement:
Colors are an integral part of everyday life. The exhibition Les couleurs de la joie (Colors of Joy) by Iosif Trif offers viewers a visual discourse on the importance of the chromaticity of the human environment, bringing to the public a series of travel photographs taken on the Côte d’Azur.
The images invite contemplation on the relationship between the external and the internal world, and encourage an explorative mental journey based on the balance between the spontaneity of the natural world, represented by elements such as the sun, shadows and weather, and the cultural (social) world and the importance of environmental forms on human lives.
Viewers are invited to immerse themselves in the images and observe the diversity of colors that attract with their multiple hues, with the joy they exude, the love of variety, of joyful play, and the countless possibilities of combination.
Iosif Trif is a graduate of the Cinematography, Photography and Media specialization of the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca and of the History of Art and Philosophy of Culture master’s program of the University of Bucharest. His photographic work spans several genres and styles, and his photographs have been seen by thousands of people around the world through many publications and exhibitions.
